Nevada remote online notarization
Nevada allows electronic notarization, including remote sessions, for notaries who register the capability with the Secretary of State and use an approved platform. Las Vegas and Reno signers use it for packages that cannot wait for a drive across the valley. Casino-hotel wet-ink signings are still the default for many title companies.
How the appointment works
- Ask Clark County recording, the title company, or the other receiving party if they will take a Nevada electronic certificate.
- Book a Nevada notary registered for electronic / remote work.
- Complete platform ID proofing before the call.
- Join the recorded session. Download the file the platform produces.
Pick the certificate the recorder will take
If Clark County recording or a Nevada title company wants ink, book mobile. If the counterparty will take a Nevada electronic notarial act, book RON and complete ID proofing on the platform before the call.
Tourist signers in a Strip hotel often think RON is faster. For a same-day car title or a deed that must record in Nevada, wet ink on the original is still the usual path.
