    Notarial ActMaximum Fee
    Acknowledgment or proof (paper)$2.00 maximum
    Oath or affirmation$2.00 maximum

    What the statute says

The Georgia Superior Court Clerks’ Cooperative Authority states the authorized fee is $2 for each notarial act. O.C.G.A. § 45-17-11 lists $2 for an oath and $2 for each other certificate, and it makes it unlawful to charge more than $4 for one service. That $4 ceiling includes the $2 notarial act plus $2 for a clerk or GSCCCA certificate that the commission is effective, and only when that certificate is requested.
